Challenge

Restore the historic heart of Szczawnica while creating a destination capable of supporting tourism, commerce and public life.

Decades of decline had left historic buildings deteriorated, public spaces fragmented and commercial activity disconnected from the town's original identity.

Mission

Create a coherent town centre rooted in history and designed for contemporary use.

The project combined heritage restoration, urban planning, commercial activation and public realm design to reconnect architecture, tourism and community life.

Result

A revitalised destination where restored architecture, public spaces and commercial activity operate as a unified experience.

Today, Szczawnica stands among Poland's most recognised spa destinations and a recognised model for historic town revitalisation.
